Dear parents,
I would like to take this chance to inform parents of a few very important areas of cooperation, that I expect all of you to appreciate and adhere to.
1)
Check your child before and after showering and every time they get dressed or change clothes. Check for rashes, red spots and signs of a contagious illness like HFMD, chickenpox or lice in the hair and inform me if you find any symptoms. As previously notified, I check mouth and hands at the entrance, but are not able to stop children with red spots on the body from entering. You need to check
and communicate before sending to school.
2)
If a child is found to be sick with high fever, discomfort or symptoms of a contagious illness,
you must pick-up immediately from school.
3) If any student arrive late after 9:00, but have been approved for entrance in advance by management or teachers, you must
listen to the campus' security guards and wait at the entrance in order for me to check your child and provide you with a "health clearance" pass. Do not ignore our guard and walk in without a health check, if it happens once you get a warning from campus management, if it happens twice your child's attendance at the Hui Xin campus program will be reviewed. Try to arrive on time, I care about the campus' overall health and hygiene and often leave my office to administer medicine, check food service, cleanliness etc. and it will cause you significant trouble waiting for your clearance.
4) On most days the air-pollution is over AQI PM2.5 >100 and we have a policy of keeping all windows and doors closed. We have done detailed tests in every class-room during the past weeks and found that classes that consistently keep doors closed, more efficiently use the air purifier and is able to improve the inside air quality drastically, a diligent class-room was able to get the PM2.5 down to just 14 on a day with more than 200 outside!.
Don't forget to close doors and minimize "talking in the doorways" to improve your child's air-quality in the class-rooms.
