On Friday, October 30th students and teachers of Hui Xin campus celebrated the big, giant dress-up party known as "Halloween".
Eventhough "Halloween" is not a scheduled event at Newton, it is indeed a day that resonates with every child and their imagination.
We had an overwhelming army of princess Elsa's, Captain America's, Hulk, Batman (Batmen) and Witches. Even teacher's dressed up as Ninja Turtles, Cats, Pacman and more. What a fun day!
Many classes, according to teachers' arrangement went trick-o-treating throughout the campus and found themselves with a bag of goodies to bring home for mom & dads final approval (Newton is a no candy school and all candy being collected on "Halloween" was sent home for parents approval, before children could enjoy it). Many parents had taken the extra effort to prepare healthy snacks, such as fruits, seeds or raisins.
Boys from K2-107 pose in the class-room, wearing their amazing Halloween costumes.
