Dear parents,
We would like to bring several concerns from school management to your attention. In recent week's we have found parents and children arriving campus as early as 7:45 in the morning. Since our gate will not open before 8:00 we kindly advice you not to be too early. If you happen to be early by accident, please wait at the entrance until the on-duty guard and management allows you to enter.
Furthermore, repeat parents continue to arrive late after 9:00. Do try to arrive on time for the convenience of your child, your child's class and their daily routines. Furthermore, all late arrivals must wait in the lobby to obtain a "health clearance card", which can take a while, especially if the nurse has left for class-room inspections.
If you pick-up your child in the afternoon, you must stay together as you leave the campus. At several occasions in the previous weeks, children have stormed out the entrance door and forced us to close gates early for safety reasons. In the future, management on duty will take down children's / parent's information and inform class' teachers for follow-up with families who let children "roam the corridors and lobby" unaccompanied.
Finally, it is finally spring time and together with Biolan we have sown "Lavender" seedlings in the garden beds at the entrance, you and your children are welcome to observe them grow, but do be careful not to pull or hurt these, still fragile, seedlings... In summer we will have beautiful purple lavenders with wonderful scent.
