On Wednesday, March 11th Newton teacher's helped to decorate the lobby and preparing the school for the upcoming "Festival of Colors" theme period where we celebrate cultures and customs from around the world.
Parents will come to class and teach students about their home-country as well as countries that they have visited and wish to share their impressions of.
To emphasize the diversity of the student body all teachers painted a flag for each nationality or region represented at Newton Kindergarten... a total of 31 Flags!
Experienced arts teacher Ms. Yoyo guides her brush to paint leaves on a tree.
Mr. Nick (teacher of 208 & 307) paints a Korean flag on the glass wall.
With 31 represented flags our lobby and glass walls will be truly colorful :).
