This week the K1 classes spent their English class' learning about our communities.
In K1 308 we discussed what sort of things we see around us every day. Then as a class we came up with a list of things we pass everyday on our way to school, and illustrated them on a class poster. The section culminated in the construction of an actual 3 dimensional fictional neighborhood, built from the imagination of our students using cereal and milk boxes that we recycled.
Children of 308 pose with their community artwork.
Buildings, apartments, post offices made out of re-used paper boxes.
