Dear parents, we would like to wish everyone a nice extended weekend and a pleasant Labor Day Holiday (May holiday).
We kindly remind you the school will be closed from/to including April 28th - May 1st and we look forward to greet everyone back on Wednesday, May 2nd.
What is Labor Day / May Day? It is a public holiday usually celebrated on May 1st. May Day is an ancient northern hemisphere spring festival. It is also a traditional spring holiday in many various cultures. Dances, singing, and cake are usually part of the celebrations that the day includes, including flower display's. In the late 19th century, May Day was chosen as the date for International Workers' Day by the Socialists and Communists of the Second International to commemorate the Haymarket affair in Chicago, where workers demonstrated for a shorter 8 hour work day.

Weather: At the time of writing April 28th promise sunshine, April 29th rain showers and April 30th & May 1st partly cloudy. Temperatures between 17 - 29 degrees Celsius.
