On Saturday, April 28th as part of the May Holiday.
Newton Hui Xin campus head of logistics Ms. Marie Qian had arranged a team-building trip for the logistics and kitchen staff to the wonderful and magical yellow mountains of Anhui province known as "Huang Shan". The team saw pine-trees growing from boulders of stone at the mountain top as if they were tiny small green clouds hovering above the rocks. Stones in all sorts of sizes and shapes and a magical sea of clouds rolling as a river below the mountain peaks.
On our trip we took cable-cars up the mountains to "Baiyeling", walked to Shixinfeng and observed the magnificent view of the "flying stones" before walking down the mountain to West Grand Canyon. It is no wonder that "Huang Shan" mountains are considered among the most remarkable mountains in China!
On our trip to Anhui we also visited a beautiful village called "Hongcun" with old buildings and a legendary moon pool in the center of town.
It was a great trip together with colleagues. Everybody helped each other and improved our joint team consciousness!
