Dear parents,
Starting off the season of love, on November 23rd, moms, dads and grandparents came to school and helped teachers decorate the classrooms for Christmas. It was overwhelming to see the amazing amount of volunteers and the quality of the decorations on the day.
The campus is decorated from top to toe in green, red and golden colours. The campus trees have arrived and the campus main tree stands tall at 3 meters, decorated in traditional Nordic handmade ornaments of straw. In the lobby teachers have hung handcrafted interpretations of Christmas Trees by using natural and creative elements. In classes we have garlands, socks, hats, scarves and stars. It is a joyous season and the more we get together, the closer our hearts are and with parents and grandparents in class it wasnt hard to create that all important feeling of togetherness.
While every class did beautiful decorations, we must commend the N-304 parents and teachers for their creative use of natural materials, leaves, branches, pine cones and hand-stitched ornaments out of fabric. Teachers Ms. Luna and Ms. Susan told reported that a group of parents had been meeting outside of school on several days the week before to prepare by hand. Thank you very much for your dedication!
