After a few weeks with freezing temperatures and snow we decided to warm each other's spirits by having a fun, mid day "winter sunshine BBQ!" for teachers, parents and children who were lucky enough to overlap their parent/teachers meetings at lunch time.

Head chef's and pastry chef'd from the Hui Xin kitchen had prepared lamb and pork meat skewers together with vegetarian egg-plant, potato and pepper-fruit BBQ sticks along with new and exciting dishes such as cauliflower with cheese-sauce, baked potatoes with garlic butter and chives with a fantastic new dark chocolate cherry cake.

Exciting teachers quickly joined the chefs at the barbecue and began cooking away!

It was a fun lunch and a good way to connect staff and invite parents/children to join the family party.
