With the help from Rena, the certified lecturer from DDI, 17 newton management members, full of passion and expectation, had a great, and deep experience of human development.
On the morning of March 31st, the training began with warm interactions and fun games. The newton pals, who work in different campuses and have different functions, united and got closer together as one big family. Then Ms. Rena showed us a small video clip about how to have good habits and began the formal training. This training opens a door to success and public victory.
In the two day training, Ms. Rena explained the habits of the high efficiency people and they are: “be proactive”, “begin with the end in mind”, “put first things first”, “think win-win”, “seek first to understand, then to be understood”, “synergize”, “sharpen the saw”. With Rena’s explanation, we realize how important they are to our self success and public victory.
With section interactions and group practice, we communicate and that helps us to grow. Some practice, which is like a reflection of ourselves, helps us know more about ourselves, see ourselves, inquest ourselves, overcome ourselves, and improve ourselves. Through discussion, debate, practice, we show the best of ourselves, show our opinions, and try to connect what we learnt with our work and life. We try to use the 7 habits theory to solve problems. The 7 habits theory is not only a concept, it is a spirit that is rooted in our heart.
In the training, we also had outdoor activities. Morning walking, yoga, and body exercises. We relaxed a lot as well.
The training inspired us that if we want to be highly efficient, we must change our mind and form good habits. We must have responsibility for our mission, andtake actions to move forward. Change from now, change our mind, change ourselves, put what we have learnt into our work, build a highly efficient team and create a better future for Newton!
See you in April!
