According to the latest announcement from the health and quarantine bureau, all schools will be closed until February 17th.2020. The school will maintain on-duty management ready to answer questions at the door throughout the extended period of closure from February 3rd - February 17th. 

Before opening on Tuesday, February 18th the following preparations will take place. 
- Facilities and toys will be disinfected, sterilized and/or UV treated. 
- All staff will receive proper training on how to spot possible "Wuhan virus" symptoms and how to respond. 
- All teachers will prepare additional in-class activities that educate children in proper hygiene when using the hand sanitizers and when wearing masks while being understanding, positive and comforting to our students emotional needs. 
- We will send the notices, guidance information and feedbacks through the school APP during this period to ensure the active and smooth communication between parents and school.



GENERAL HYGIENE ADVICE


●Focus on health and epidemic prevention from home and protect children and family members. Open windows and ventilate, help children to develop good hygiene habits, wash their hands properly with soap or hand sanitizer before and after meals and when going out. 

●If possible, strengthen indoor activities with children. Enhance physical fitness, ensure a good diet with more fresh vegetables and fruit. Stay well rested. 

●Reduce unnecessary outdoor activities. Avoid taking children to public places where crowds gather with poor air circulation. Avoid contact with sick people. Wear masks when going out or going to the hospital for treatment.

●Cover your mouth and nose with tissue when you cough/sneeze or cough/sneeze into your upper sleeve. Not your hands! (put used tissue in waste basket)

●Avoid going to epidemic areas such as Wuhan and its surroundings, avoid contact with wild animals and birds.  

●Pay close attention to the health of family members. If it is found that the family members are suspected or infected with coronavirus, quarantine must be carried out as soon as possible and the school shall be informed at first time.

●With all kinds of reports and news regarding the virus, please stay positive,  focus on how people working together, helping each other and provide sufficient emotional support for children.
