On Thursday, October 27th the classes of K2 403 & 404 visited the Amigo Baseball Club at Jinghope.
Amigo Baseball Club is an MLB authorized program with state of the art indoor and outdoor facilities all dedicated to the wonderful sport of Baseball. With their dedicated teachers Ryan, Shawn and Sosa from South Korea our children were in safe hands as they were taught basic principles and skills of the game, starting with warm-up, running from pitch to pitch.
Students were seperated into 3 teams and took rotation with their coaches, practicing how to throw a baseball with assist targets and real major league balls, how to use a junior foam bat to hit oversized foam balls with the right swing movement and finally how to catch a ball with a grip and twist motion.
Throughout this week and next week our 10 K1 & K2 classes will visit the club for individual periods of 60 minutes and on behalf of everyone at Newton Hui Xin Kindergarten we wish to thank the Amigo Baseball Club management for their cooperation and warm welcome to our students and teachers, we hope to be back soon!
Sincerely,
Newton Hui Xin Campus
