Dear parents,
Welcome to a new year at Hui Xin campus!
On behalf of all teachers and staff I would like to wish you and your little ones a fantastic return to or start at Newton Kindergarten! We have an exciting year coming up! With new and fun features such as swimming program for N, K1 & K2 students (and a new baby-swimming enrichment offer for PN families), more music/piano lessons for K1 & K2 and a brand new play-castle in the plaza area for free play.
I hope all of you had a wonderful summer with lots of great memories to share and I want to thank so many of you for joining Saturday's "Meet & Greet", helping us to ensure a smooth start for your children. I look forward to get to know new families and students even better as well as catch up with returning families these first weeks.
Throughout the remaining weeks of August, new kindergarten students will be taught practical class-room awareness and self-help skills by both their English and Chinese teachers in order for them to have a smooth start. There will be music and games aimed at building social skills as well as activities with the teachers in regards to the kindergarten life, hygiene, routines and rules of the class-room. Returning and older kindergarten students will review important skills from last semester, prepare new daily routines and class-agreements in advance of the 1st curriculum theme "Friends & School".
