Dear parents,
Even though the return rate of families from abroad is very minimal, we wish to share the strict entrance procedure rules with everyone in order to understand current safety and precaution measures being taken in Jiangsu province better.
All people entering China from abroad, must complete relevant quarantine at their port of entrance.
Additionally, all people entering Jiangsu province after initial quarantine are asked to stay at home, limit going out and refrain from gatherings until all required nucleic acid tests have been completed and with negative results. (currently, besides tests done prior to boarding a China bound flight and during stay at quarantine hotel immediately upon arrival there is an additional 2 mandatory tests in Jiangsu province).
-> Upon disembarking an international flight all passengers will take a Covid-19 test at the airport and be brought to a quarantine hotel (1st test).
-> Before leaving a quarantine hotel, all members will take a Covid-19 test again (2nd test).
-> Upon arriving in Jiangsu province, report to your community and stay at home for 14 additional days where you must limit going out and refrain from gatherings. During your 14 days at home, you are required to take a Covid-19 test no later than the 3rd day in Jiangsu and again on the 14th day (3rd and 4th test).
-> Submit all negative test results to admissions before returning to campus.
* If you are required by the police, entry bureau or neighborhood management to complete additional tests, you must notify the school as soon as possible and show us the negative result.

*** It currently takes 28 days minimum from day of arrival to complete the mandatory tests.
