Dear families, we are asked by both Jiangsu and Suzhou authorities to keep information of travel arrangements for all staff and families attending our program during the upcoming October holiday.
People are advised to stay in Jiangsu province and while we are currently not aware of any domestic travel restrictions, if you plan to leave Jiangsu province you must inform us in advance before the holiday.
We kindly ask you to assist us and help fill out the travel disclosure form that is being sent home in your child's communication book today.
If you are leaving Jiangsu province, you must provide us with your detailed travel itinerary and train/flight numbers in advance.
All parents are asked to sign the travel disclosure acknowledgement on the form and provide us with a primary phone number for contact during the holiday.
The school will be closed from/including October 1st to/including October 11th. Due to the seasonal changes, expected mass travels over the October holiday it is now that everyone has to be strict about social distancing and remember all covid-19 health measures eg. wear face mask, don't crowd, update health QR code, stay in small groups, observe good hand hygiene, don't eat directly from same bowl etc.
We wish all of you an amazing holiday and while we want to encourage you to stay in Jiangsu province, we also understand that for many families this will be the first time to see your extended family members for a holiday together.
