During the two weeks leading up to Christmas, children of all levelstook part in many fun and interesting activities.
Teachers of Nursery classes played a jolly Snowman game with children on the playground where children had to pass a series of obstacles to help decorate the snowman. K2 children, as the eldest in the kindergarten went to the younger classes to sing Christmas Carols and to give them self-made gifts. In the gym room, children had fun taking part in many Christmas games, such as “The Christmas Express”,“Interesting Reindeer”, “Santa Hat Pitching” and more, it was so much fun! K1 children made beautiful pieces of pottery in the pottery room and learned to manipulate the clay by the guidance of teachers as they made amazing works of art.
The meaning of “Christmas joy” is to shine a light of hope by giving thanks to those who mean the most to us and each child made gifts, full of love, for their families at home by using natural elements of wood chips, rattan sticks, and clay.
"Christmas is giving and sharing!"-Although parents couldn't enter the kindergarten to participate in activities due to the epidemic, teachers and children invite you to enjoy a wonderful song and dance performance to get you in the holiday spirit! At Newton, every child is a star as they perform on the stage. We hope you will enjoy the wonderful moments with your child during this warm and festive season.
On December 23rd, Santa Claus came to our school in the morning to greet children and parents, bringing the Christmas cheer all the way from the North Pole to Newton on the last day before the holiday. Children were wearing many kinds of Christmas-style costumes and enjoyed the Christmas scenery in the kindergarten while taking pictures with Santa.
In the children’s world,
They always believe in fairy tales,
Believe Santa Claus will come as promised,
And send them Christmas presents.
Because there are always someone who love them,
Will give them surprise on those special days.
Newton’s Christmas is full of colorful activities and love,
Light up children’s world with happiness and surprise
We wish all Newton families a Merry Christmas, and well-being!
