We are excited to see you again
As the meet & greet day met the Lantern Festival, the campus, which has been quite for the holidays once more flourished with life and laughter, including beautiful New Year’s decorations, colorful lanterns with bilingual riddles, a special new year gift and specially created pastries and bread in the shape of “Bunnies” were waiting for children's return!
In the morning, Ms. Rabbit and Mr. Elmo greeted our students with open arms at the school gate where children did lucky Hongbao draws, guessed riddles and received gifts. Excitement and joy filled the corridors, playground and extended into the classrooms. Children excitedly greeted their teachers and friends who they had not seen in a long time and made every classroom full of laughter and play. Children adapted back into school life easily and it was as if they had not been away from each other for more than a day.
Share the joy of New Year
The feeling of the warm Chinese New Year lingers and is found all around us as the new year atmosphere continues to spread it’s warmth throughout campus! Our students appreciated making lanterns, guessing riddles, collecting hongbaos through obstacle course races and used a variety of different materials to make Rabbit themed handicrafts together. Every child at campus was sure to feel the joy of the New Year as they took part in fun activities.
Our holiday memories
Both our teachers and students shared their wonderful holiday memories in class and as we finally begin to overcome the epidemic and are able to travel again it brought us great joy to see how everyone had spend their time together on the many shared holiday photos. By sharing our experiences the classrooms became full of appreciation and beautiful memories.
Let’s embark on a new journey together
With a New Year comes new stories, new knowledge and new exciting activities at campus, both inside the class and out on the playground. Students actively participated in the days’ routines where their growth and progress was easy to be found.
As spring warms the earth and everything begins to grow we look forward to witness each child’s growth and development in our environment which is always filled with love and care at Newton kindergarten!
