Dear parents,
The Newton Charity Fund, is managed by Newton Hui Xin campus parents and overseen by management to ensure full transparency. At fundraisers, mainly the yearly Charity Drive before Chinese Spring Holiday guests and vendors who join are kindly asked to donate money for the cause.
The charity fund accumulates donations from parents, employees and companies in order to help where help is needed most! In the past the Newton charities have donated to the Sichuan Earthquake victims, Japanese Red Cross – Tsunami Relief Effort and UNICEF as well as several children from the Suzhou orphanages that needed medical attention and/or surgical procedures. In 2016 Newton’s Shangjun campus raised funds to pay for a girl of a migrant family, who had suffered third degree burns during an accident and was in urgent need of surgical recovery. In 2017 Newton's Hui Xin campus covered medical fees for a 4 year old girl being treated in the cancer unit at Suzhou, Children's Hospital with no more financial options available to the family.
The Charity fund is managed under the following responsibilities below and will respond to donation requests by families in need as well as actively cooperate with the Suzhou hospitals and orphanages to offer children of poor families a helping hand with their medical needs. Furthermore, should Newton parents acquire information of children in need of urgent help; you can submit a request to the fund committee through nurse nurse-hxj@internewton.com
