2025-03-23 Views: 7

In the delightful month of March, as the spring breeze gently caressed the willow trees, Baitang Park welcomed its youngest "Spring Explorers"the nursery children from Newton! Brimming with anticipation, these little ones embarked on a date with spring, seeking beauty, experiencing growth, and forging friendships in the embrace of nature!

Exploring Spring's Colors with Childlike Wonder

As the morning sun shone on Baitang Park, the children joyfully set off on a grand spring adventure! Armed with their "Spring Magnifying Glasses" and "Nature Palettes," they began their quest for the colors of spring  the snowy-white dandelions, the vibrant red berries, the lush green leaves, and the clear azure sky. The colorful world sparkled even brighter through their eyes. Our teachers led their classes to play a color-matching game, and amidst the laughter, they uncovered spring's secrets and felt the vibrant vitality of nature.

Touching Spring's Essence with All Senses

In the park, the children didn't just see spring; they also smelled the sweet fragrance of flowers and the sunny scent of grass. They listened to the birds singing and felt the soft earth beneath their feet. They ran and played, using their bodies and minds to experience every inch of spring. Like little adventurers, they used their keen senses to capture every surprise that nature had to offer, making spring come alive in their hearts!

Framing Spring's Joy with Games

On the sun-drenched lawn, with the spring breeze gently caressing their cheeks and joyful music filling the air, the children enthusiastically participated in fun games  dancing together, playing with ribbons, running freely, exploring the secrets of the wind, and working with their friends to complete fun tasks. The meadow echoed with laughter as each child, like a spring sprite, radiated a bright smile, capturing the joy of spring!

Extending Spring's Fairytale on Campus

Although the spring exploration at Baitang Park may have ended, the children brought back more than just joythey carried spring's inspiration and stories. Back on campus, the Newton teachers carefully prepared more exciting follow-up activities, using creativity and their own hands to let the beauty of spring continue to bloom. The spring fairytale continues, and every child is a protagonist in this story!

Colorful Wind  Dancing with the Spring Breeze

In the small woods on campus, the teachers used clear tape to create a "Colorful Wind" passage. The children decorated it with colored paper and ribbons they had chosen in advance, sticking them to the tape. As the spring breeze blew, the colorful paper strips and ribbons fluttered in the wind, and the children couldn't help but run through them with laughter mingling with the sound of the wind.

This was a wonderful sensory experience and an artistic creation for the children, allowing them to truly "see the wind and feel the wind."

Spring Wind Chimes  The Sound of Spring

Next, the children used milk-tea cup lids, colored beads, ribbons, and buttons to make their unique spring wind chimes. When the wind chimes rang, the children said, "This is the sound of spring!" Through this craft activity, they not only developed their practical skills but also captured the beauty of spring in their little works of art.

Capturing Spring Light  The Magic of the Sunlit Room

The kindergarten's stained-glass room is like a magical world. Spring light shone through the colorful roof, casting dappled shadows. The children chased the sunlight, running and spinning, each becoming a spring sprite or fairy.

"Look, my hand is green!" "Wow, my clothes have turned red!" The children were delighted to discover that the light spots changed color as they moved, and their laughter was like scattered notes of sunlight. At this moment, the spring sunlight was no longer a vague feeling but a vibrant color.

Newton focuses on every child's growth. In the "Spring Adventure: Fun & Discovery at Baitang Park" activity, our students experienced growth through interaction with nature and cooperation with their friends. They discovered with their eyes, created with their hands, and perceived with their hearts, harvesting beautiful childhood memories in nature.

Spring is a beautiful beginning, and children are the most dazzling hope. We look forward to welcoming more discoveries and growth with them in the future!
