On Sunday, the 15th of January Newton Educational Group held its annual grand ceremony at the Nikko Hotel's main ballroom. From 9:30 on this sunny morning hundreds of teachers, caregivers, caretakers, group members and principals were arriving to celebrate the conclusion of yet another successful year. Newton's Educational Group founding members wished everyone a very happy New Year and a safe journey home over the coming weeks, as hundreds of Newton employees prepare to travel across the country to see their families and love dones. Our six hosts getting the show started
Hosted by Newton'svery own Ms. Joanna Gao, Ms. Jill Beams, Mr. Patrick Carter , Ms. Qian Lijuang,Mr. Zhao Liming & Ms. Du Yan a program of fun, excitement and honorable awards had been prepared.

 The award ceremony 
Ms. Susie Wang, principal of Bayside campus handed awards to the most outstanding new staff of 2016. Ms. Shirley Shen, principal of Shangjun campus awarded senior outstanding members and Mr. Anders Christensen, principal of Hui Xin campus awarded certificates to the best groups of each campus. 

The Honorary employee Award to Zhao  Qi Mei
Ms. Zhao Qi Mei receives this year's honorary certificate for being an outstanding employee, having worked as a school bus driver for Newton kindergartens, since 2004. The special award was handed by Ms. Zhang Yan, founder of the Newton Educational Group.Following the awards ceremony, each campus had prepared the entertainment by exhibiting their creative skills inthe following performances.

Following the performances, food was served while random teachers, tables and groups were selected for fun games on the main stage, transferringhula-hoops, showing agility by playing Limbo and much more. At the end of thegrand event, we all worked together to save left-over food from the banquet; Left over chicken, meat & fish was brought to the Suzhou dog shelter, a meaningful gesture which provided us with a warm and caring conclusion to this fantastic party!
It was an amazing and fun event, where new staff of each campus got to know each other and where senior members of the Newton family, had a chance to catch up with dear friends from other campus'. With smiles, hugs and cheers we celebrated how long we havecome together, our unity in moving forward and our great hopes for the future.
