"Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way", with the sound of cheerful Christmas music, the Newton campus in December is filled with the fragrance of spruce Christmas trees, and the hall is decorated with various exquisite Christmas wreaths, angels and love. Classrooms and corridors are filled with children’s handmade elk, snowmen, and Christmas trees. Under the meticulous dressing of teachers and children, Newton's Christmas month kicked off. Everywhere in the campus is filled with the festive atmosphere of Christmas, giving the children a fairy-tale holiday full of love.

 

          

Christmas is named after the "Christ's Day Mass". It is not only a religious holiday, but also a celebration of new life, family members and lovers to reunite and share. In Newton, as a Christmas theme activity in December every year, we encourage children to participate, experience, communicate and share in the activities through diverse Christmas activities. At the same time, we also bring Newton’s love and gifts to every child.

In December Christmas Month, Newton Kindergarten launched a series of interesting activities around Christmas culture, Christmas crafting, Christmas themed games, Christmas themed picture books & movies, Christmas parade, Christmas buffet dinner, etc. Let’s review together for this festival full of love and warmth!

Warm Christmas Hand Crafting & Christmas Decoration

In Newton, we use natural and environmentally friendly materials to make Christmas decorations. Teachers and children collected branches, pine cones, rolls, popsicle sticks, clay, cartons and other usable materials in advance to make Christmas trees of various shapes. Elk, snowflakes, and cute Santa Claus. The children are very happy to participate and contribute their little power to the development of the activity.

 

 

 

 

Warm-hearted Christmas song & Christmas photo shooting

The Chinese and foreign teachers in Huixin Campus brainstormed, planned and participated in the recording of this year's Christmas songs. The entire video is led by FAY, played by pianist Irene, and completed by the lead singers Paul, Shirkey, Anche, Melon, Kayla, Sunny and Mia, and the harmony staff. Through singing Christmas carols, peace and blessings are brought to everyone.

The bell of Christmas is about to ring, and the annual ring of time has left a deep mark. In the past year, the children have grown taller, more brave and more confident. In order to thank the teachers and ayis for their dedication and companionship, the teachers and children of Huixin Campus put on Christmas hats and red scarves, gathered together under the Christmas tree, took a photo with the long-awaited Santa Claus, and recorded this wonderful moment to welcome the arrival of the new year.

Fun Christmas Themed Picture Book & Movie Tour

Who are the Pre-Nursery babies talking to? Oh, they were talking to the frozen snowman in their dreams! How much they want to go to the hometown of the frozen snowman to see that mysterious Santa Claus. Around Christmas, the teachers also prepared different picture books and movie feasts for the babies to experience different Christmas cultures in the warm, fantasy and joyful fairy tales.

 

Make Gingerbread Man & Play Christmas Game

There is a traditional custom of making and eating gingerbread cookies on Christmas. The students of Bayside Campus made gingerbread by themselves. They used a white chocolate pen to carefully outline the eyes, nose, and mouth of the gingerbread man, and made them carefully. They shared the fruits of labor with the family and tasted the flavor of love.

In the classroom, Christmas-themed games were played amidst everyone’s laughter, fishing gingerbread man, reindeer throwing, snowman throwing and other games. Everyone communicated with each other in the game, laughed and laughed, making the Christmas atmosphere more intense.

  

Bayside Campus invited a magical Miss Christmas to bring a fantasy bubble show to the students. Miss Christmas lightly waved the magic wand in her hand, all kinds of big, small, bunches of colorful bubbles floated out lightly, and surprised everyone. While everyone was not paying attention, Miss Christmas secretly used a peculiar spell and turned into a funny bubble hat and bubble headband, which was worn on the heads of the students. It was really amazing. The most magical thing is the bubble golden bell. Children can stand in the golden bell, surrounded by bubbles, and experience becoming a dazzling protagonist.

Surprise Christmas show & Christmas train ride

This year’s Huixin Christmas show selected the venue in a garden corridor with a dream kingdom. The garden corridor was pre-decorated by teachers as a forest kingdom in the Arctic. There was heavy snow in the kingdom, and the trees were covered by thick snow. Reindeer with a golden bell hanging around his neck, Santa Claus has prepared a big bag of toys and is on his way on a sleigh!

The students wear white, red, and green clothes representing Christmas colors, light up candles in the dream kingdom, sing Christmas carols, and dance to the sound of music. As the sun sets, in the looming light and shadow, as if to see the snowflakes falling from the sky, what a peaceful and beautiful night this is!

Chuchu! Chuchu! The Christmas train greeted the ginkgo leaves on the side of the road and drove happily. Today's train is a bit special, with Christmas stockings hung on it. "Did Santa Claus take the train to give us gifts?" Will there be presents in the Christmas stockings?" The children tweeted. Then let us quickly get on the train to see if there are any surprises!

The happy Christmas series of activities are gradually coming to an end in the delicious food aroma. In this festive holiday, the children of Bayside Campus opened their exquisite Christmas dinners and gathered together with their companions, teachers and aunts. It was a joyous event, and let the whole winter become warm and mellow.

 

 

  

As night falls, on the Christmas month in Newton Campus, candlelight and dots of stars are shining together. With the end of the Christmas music, the Christmas series of activities come to an end with a peaceful blessing. The new year is about to begin.
