Dear parents,
We are currently finalizing the planning for this year's summer camp program for Newton students during the 3 week period from July 18th - August 5th. We will have 3 classes, PN, N and a combined K1 & K2 class. Please find details below.
The PN class will consist of 24 students and will be situated in our 107 class-room with a separate nap room in 104. The group will be lead by foreign teacher Ms. Allison together with 2 Chinese teachers and 1 ayi to accommodate the number of students.
The N class consist of 23 students and will be in 108 with a separate nap room in 208. The group will be lead by foreign teacher Ms. Sarah together with 2 Chinese teachers and 1 ayi as well.
The K1 & K2 levels will be combined into one class of 18 students which will be located in 109. The combined group will be lead by foreign teacher Mr. Paul together with 2 Chinese teachers at most.
All levels will have a fun filled, non-curriculum based summer camp with weekly sand play, water play, lego, football, bicycling and gym time. as well as story time in the library, cooking in the classes, nature/science activities and in-class learning centers. Be aware, that teachers work on a per-week basis and will be changed throughout the summer camp period.
- We are providing you with a temporary registration form, only valid for these 3 weeks, please fill it out and return to your teachers within a week.
- Please prepare the regular day-to-day items as a normal day at Newton, along with an extra set of spare-clothes, a water-play costume, towel and sun-lotion.
- We issue temporary entrance passes, only valid for the 3 week summer camp period. Please carry them with you when you drop-off or pick-up your child from campus.
