Throughout the weeks before semester start, in specific from August 4th - 14th all Newton teachers from Bayside, Hui Xin and Zhangjiagang campus' underwent training, focusing on musical development and all-round incorporation of music and rhythm into the lessons as well as training concerning class management, parent communication and how to conduct lessons from the scholastic curriculum.
On August 12th new and old teachers worked in groups and took turns to demo in front of each other, sharing ideas and techniques on how to use the Scholastic Reading line curriculum more effectively in the class-room.

Ms. Yuki from Nursery 203 introduces the "sound & letter" set in an excellent demo.
Ms. Meg from Bayside campus share her reading techniques with fellow Newton teachers.
