Colorful leaves falling from the trees, orange pumpkins, ripe fruits and rustic charm are all features of the beautiful autumn season. The Halloween Party "An Autumn Fairytale" brought magic, wonder and joy to all of our amazing children!
Ding dong! The cute and funny characters from the fairytale world comes to life!
Children from all levels, based on unique themes, dressed up as different fairy tale characters, such as pumpkin fairies, clowns, little artists and all kinds of animals along with the ever popular Spider-men, Peter Pan and Disney Princesses.
The campus was soaked in magic as all the fairytale characters invited children on a magical Halloween celebration, without the "boo" but very much with the "wow"!
Pre-Nursery's "Pumpkin Fairytale Feast"
Pre-Nursery children as pumpkin fairies embarked on a "Pumpkin fairytale Feast" of discovery through a series of Pumpkin related activities.
With teachers guidance children went looking for pumpkins in order to enter the magical home of the “Pumpkin Fairies”. They also attended a lucky game and received a special gift at the wonderful "Pumpkin Wall"!
In the stage show performed by teachers children learned the secrets of how a pumpkin grow from seed to seedling before becoming a pumpkin as we know it.
At lunch time children enjoyed a pumpkin themed feast of delicious food including fried rice with beef served in a pumpkin bowl, cheese baked pumpkins, coconut flavored pumpkin soup, egg tart with chestnuts and pumpkins, pumpkin shaped buns and even pumpkin flavored Tiramisu. It was a buffet of pumpkin happiness all made by our wonderful and caring chefs!
Nursery's "Magic Fairytale Party"
The world of magic enchants every child and the Nursery "Magic Fairytale Party" captured and awakened children's inner magicians!
Children experienced the excitement of exploration as they enjoyed a magical jigsaw puzzle challenge, teacher’s "Pumpkin Soup" performance, magic show brought by foreign teachers, costume show and taking photos at "The Magic Wall" while posing as pumpkins all while enjoying the lucky surprises and receiving mysterious gifts!
Children experienced the joy in a fun magical world and it was spellbindingly fantastic!
K1's "Forest Fairytale Celebration"
In late Autumn we witness how the once green leaves on the big trees change color and dance in the wind as they fall from the trees. It is a beautiful and mysterious seasonal gift to see the blanket of colors surround us!
A "Forest Fairytale Celebration" brings a special Halloween event to our K1 children. In the "Autumn forest" they enjoyed a beauty contest and a puppet show made by teachers. Children also used beautiful autumn leaves to finish creative crafts and even wore handmade hair accessories and masks to imitate the movements of the animals in the puppet show! K1's "Forest Fairytale Celebration" leaves children with a deeper understanding of the changing seasons along with a very special fairytale memory.
K2's"Art of the Fairytale Mecca"
At the "Fairytale Mecca" K2 students learned about fairytales through creative arts and when dressed up, children would become their favorite imaginary characters and artists as they discovered the many unique Halloween and Autumn themed venues at campus, such as the art gallery with its magic and charm, the music room with games, instruments and Halloween music. At the art area teachers and students worked together to paint the autumn scenery on a big canvas, that way we can always keep the spirit of Autumn with us!
Autumn is a mysterious season that represent harvest and K2 students had fun playing an Autumn harvest game on the playground while experiencing the joy of the harvest. To finish the exciting day classes went looking for signs of Autumn around campus and discovered how the colors have changed, leaves begin to fall and acorns lay scattered on the ground. It is impressive to see the change in nature, like a constant work of art always changing and evolving. It is life and life is an art.
Finally, with every discovery, unique experience and happy moment we wish that children will always remember to enjoy the Halloween Spirit in Autumn!
