On August 8th, 2016 Newton teachers and health care workers received training from Mr. Sam Michael, a specialist in air-purification and odor removal.
Mr. Sam Michael provided insight into the development of the PM2.5 scale, how measurements are made, tests from around the world, including Boston and Beijing and how living in bad air-pollution can cause illness. Mr. Sam Michael also emphasized the steps we can all take to limit exposure to unwanted air, by using positive air-pressure systems for purification, as now installed at Hui Xin campus.
On behalf of all at Hui Xin campus we wish to thank Mr. Sam Michael for his wonderful presentation and passionate expertise.
