Flying leaves, golden farmland, wild paddy-fields and ripe delicious fruits. Nature tells it’s own colorful fairy tale of autumn rich in beauty and plenty in harvest. This week, Newton teachers worked together to design and create a “Fantastic Pumpkin House” theme park full of fun and games.
A theme park full of surprises and games where children join their friends for a magical festival celebration!
Unique & Creative Shows
Are you ready? The creative pumpkin show has started!
On this special day, children wore themed costumes and entered kindergarten full of awe and excitement. With the great creativity of our skillful parents, Pre-nursery and Nursery children were dressed in pumpkin colors and hosted a wonderful costume show.
In the lobby exquisite artwork and unique handicrafts created by parents and students together were on display.
A Fun Fantasy Tour
What treasures may be hidden at campus? Let’s go on a fun fantasy tour and discover the secrets of the pumpkin house...
Fantastic Pumpkin House
"Look! We found the big pumpkin house! Come on an adventure with us!"
Pre-nursery’s little pumpkins had fun in the big pumpkin house together with their teachers and explored it with enthusiasm both inside and out while they played hide and seek, enjoyed blowing pumpkin shaped bubbles and joined group photos.
Pumpkin Fun
Nursery children found a secret pumpkin garden where different size pumpkins were hidden and played the games "looking for pumpkins", "digging up pumpkins", and "counting pumpkins". It was so much fun!
The lovely “pumpkin dog” themed playground made children's fairy-tale dreams come true and they all cheered for the scientific “Pumpkin Volcano Explosion” experiment!
Doodle Pumpkin
K1 children were thrilled to “paint” the large canvas outside full of crazy colorful doodles as they used water squirt cannons and a big watercolor filled ball to create an orange “splash” for everyone to enjoy. Back in the classrooms children had fun making various creative pumpkin paintings and dressed up their artwork with newspaper and magazine cuttings all under the careful guidance of their teachers.
Pumpkin Party
During the Pumpkin festivities K2 enjoyed a unique camping adventure! Although, the risk of rain meant the “camping grounds” had to be under the covered areas, it did not affect the children s enthusiasm and at the pumpkin camp-site children had so much fun playing pumpkin golf and Frisbee relay games. After the sports were over they enjoyed the teacher’s imaginary pumpkin stories from the safety of our picnic blankets and volunteered to answer questions. We even made pumpkin pastry together with the campus chefs and pastry specialist and after exercising our body and mind we enjoyed a special meal along with home-made food brought from home at the “pumpkin picnic”. Students could truly feel the love from their parents as they shared food from home!
The many fun and interesting activities at the Newton “Pumpkin House” inspired children’s growth, imagination and creativity just as the special festival celebration created a precious childhood fairy-tale worth remembering!
