As Autumn is setting in, here at Newton we are not worried about a small chill in the air, we are getting out of the classroom and enjoying new adventures! Our K1 and K2 classes recently went out to the Oriental Salt Lake City in Changzhou and enjoyed shows and museums in a zen-like atmosphere. The city is home to a salt museum that tells the history of salt in China and has some beautiful and colorful salt formations. It also has a paper museum where children were able to practice making their very own paper carving designs. Children enjoyed magical shows of fire and water. The second half of the day children were able to explore anything they wanted with their friends, families and teachers. There were large areas of water, a planetarium, animal shows, and many other interesting sites to see.
Everyone came home happy and tired from such a fun filled day. Another successful event full of lasting memories for our K1 and K2 classes and families.
