Boo! Its Halloween again and here at Newton we enjoy this traditional American holiday with fun games and activities for those who wish to participate. This holiday that happens every year on October 31st, has some spooky origins, but now is a day for people to dress as their favorite characters and enjoy some sweet treats. At Bayside we allowed teachers and students to dress in costume if they wished. In the morning the children paraded around school displaying their unique costume and admiring the costumes of others. They had a fashion show on stage while listening to the fun Halloween music. Also children were able to go to different offices on campus to "Trick- Or- Treat". The children very much enjoyed receiving the little candy treats and many were excitedly counting how many they had. In the classrooms the children played Halloween games and made Halloween crafts.
For students and staff alike it was a fun day with unforgettable memories and tasty treats to happily enjoy!
