We have opened a brand new Newton International Libary at our Bayside campus! It's been an exciting plan and we are very happy that the libary is finally opened.
Children from all of the international classes are able to come and explore the both English and Chinese books that we have in our library. Currently, the library has 150 Chinese and 150 English books. The books are appropriate for children of all ages.
One day every week, the children will come down to the library with their teachers to explore and learn how to read books.
Our inhouse librarian, Ms. Vicky, will be in charge of keeping the library up to date and checking out books.
Currently, only K2 children from the international section are allowed to check out the books. They must return the books after one week. We are planning to expand the checking out to all of the classes throughout the year.
Please encourage your child to enjoy their library visits!
