During the last week(s) of school, the campus has experienced a growth spurt as tomatoes, squash, egg-plants, cucumbers, green peppers and potatoes has grown, matured and been used in class-rooms for end of year fun nature projects. As we are about to finish the school year, the plants and greens around campus are giving us their last bit of harvest before we clear out the garden-beds and prepare for a new year of greens.
If parents have suggestions on what kind of fruits/veggies or greens we can add to our gardens, please feel free to contact head of maintenance and gardens Ms. Marie in room 103 during drop-off or pick-up periods. You could also make suggestions to teachers, as we are always looking for new, colorful and fun way to present our outdoors.
Wishing you a green and healthy summer holiday!
Marie Qian,
Head of facilities, maintenance and gardens
