Bathed in the sunshine of Spring, Hui Xin campus celebrated the colorful and diverse world we live in with a two week theme period called "Festival of Colors". As an international school with families from all parts of the world and China, we understand the importance of nurturing children’s international perspectives, expanding their knowledge of the world and cultivating an open mentality and appreciation of our unique differences. Every country and region has its own dialect or language, traditions and celebrations, landmarks, arts and music. This amazing international perspective combined with children’s eager to explore and learn is embraced not just during our yearly theme weeks, but every day at Newton, Hui Xin campus.
在明媚的春光中，新纽顿会心校区迎来了“多元文化节”特色主题周活动。作为一所拥有来自世界各地和中国家庭的国际性园所，我们深刻理解培养孩子国际化视野，拓展对世界的认知，建立开放性、接纳度的重要性。在多元文化主题周中，我们借助世界各地不同的民族地区有着不一样的语言，传统，庆典，地标，艺术和特色音乐，带领孩子一起探索和感受多彩绚丽而包罗万象的世界文化。国际视野和探索精神的培养，不止体现于多元文化节主题活动中，也传承和践行于会心校园每一年、每一天的教育实践中。
This is the most beautiful time of year, where the cherry and plum trees around campus is blossoming and creating a colorful contrast to the green grass and trees. Our campus was dressed for the special occasion with colorful streamers, art depicting colorful houses and patterns painted by teachers and students. The main hallway and glass wall features a 3D color pattern which catches the rays of the sun and creates a rainbow walk that children pass through when they arrive school or prepare to go home in the afternoon. The rainbow walk is truly an amazing way for children to experience the nuances and magic of light and reflections.
3月的会心校园，是一年中最美的时刻，樱花烂漫，绿意盎然，这些美景仿佛为我们的校园披上了五彩吉服，与孩子和老师一起创作和布置的涂鸦墙、彩绘玻璃相互辉映，整个校园里充斥着浓郁欢快的色彩和节日的氛围。每当阳光洒落，孩子们走在立体彩纸装饰过的玻璃墙边的走廊上仿佛在彩虹上行走，“彩虹走廊“成了孩子们探索光影的美妙之地。
Throughout the past two weeks, teachers have presented creative activities with role-play and set designs, where our students have, in the comfort of our school, visited Hawaii, France, Malaysia, India, China, Europe and Africa. We have experienced a wide variety of themes, festivals, celebrations and unique customs. During the exploration of this wonderful and interesting world we have compared both differences and similarities and learned local dances, music and finished amazing creative arts. Children were truly inspired and had a ton of fun together!
新纽顿的老师通过精心设计和情景创设，让孩子们在校园里经历一场环球旅行，带领孩子们领略了夏威夷，法国，马来西亚，印度，中国以及欧洲和非洲这些不同国家的节日、庆祝活动和独特的习俗，感受和比较这些国家的共同和不同之处。在欣赏不同国家的音乐、学习当地的舞蹈、进行有趣的手工制作等操作中，孩子们积极参与艺术创作和表现，享受了与同伴一起探索和体验的乐趣！
On Friday, March 26th students and teachers dressed for the special occasion in traditional and colorful clothes. Petal's from the Cherry tree in the garden were falling like the softest snowflakes on a sunny day and both children and staff were having the most amazing time. It couldn't have been a more perfect day to conclude our two week theme period! Thank you to all our amazing families for supporting this event.
本周五是多元文化节主题最后一天，也是我们的彩色服饰日，全园师生都身着传统或色彩丰富的服饰以庆祝这特殊的节日。樱花树下落樱缤纷，每一片花瓣就像最柔软的雪花纷纷飘落下来。老师和孩子一起感受不同风格的服饰，一起嬉戏玩耍，共同度过了美妙的时光。为期两周的多元文化节主题活动在孩子们的欢乐和成长收获中结束了，也在此感谢热情支持我们本次活动的家长们!
