On December 12th, 2017 Newton Hui Xin campus was visited by our friends and partners in education from University College South Denmark, UCSYD.
At this occasion Ms. Mette Skovgaard Ernlund who is head of the international department at UCSYD, which is a group of teacher's and social education schools in Denmark, with an annual graduating body of approx. 2000 teachers and social educators had invited associate Ms. Annette, who is international coordinator specific for the social studies center (social education and practical exchange program coordinator) to learn more about the Newton program and the possibility of further enhancing our cooperation.
UCSYD also has a cooperation with Suzhou University, which often sends Chinese teachers on study programs in Denmark and while we send Newton teachers on study stays abroad as well, it is UCSYD's mission to send students to Hui Xin campus, to learn about the uniqueness of our campus, the international and domestic clients as well as our program specialties through medium length practical internships of up to 5 months duration.
We are excited to share and learn new pedagogical practices by bringing in fresh energy and fully expect from mid 2018 to have 2 teachers from UCSYD studying at our campus, whom we hope both our staff and families will welcome with open arms.
Thank you for a wonderful visit
Sincerely,
Anders S C
