On Thursday, November 15th guards and security staff at Newton, Hui Xin campus trained their emergency preparedness, hand-to-hand and special equipment combat techniques in case of a violent intruder.
Campus guards practiced their disarmament techniques and use of special equipment, such as the iron staff, pepper spray, shields and grabbing hooks.
Though our guards sincerely hope never to have to use their training in real life, it is an important part of their duties to be prepared for the worst possible scenario and act professional, while keeping our school safe.
