2015/2016 ENTRANCE POLICY ENFORCEMENT
Due to many parents arriving right before gate closure at 8:50, the road outside the school faces heavy traffic every morning and we strongly urge parents to use the period between 8:00-8:40 for arrivals instead (
other schools/kindergartens arrival time is 8:00-8:30 only, but we allow arrivals up until 9:00).
Further, despite the teachers, guards and managements effort to urge arrivals before 9:00, it has become a highly disrupting routine when some parents arrive after 9:00, causing difficulties for the nurses to fulfill their responsibilities (they need to check vaccinations, medicine administrations, kitchen and breakfast distributions) as well as for the teachers to provide a steady morning routine, which starts from the first period of morning exercises at 8:50.
Due to this worsening habit, management and campus security at Hui Xin campus will strictly enforce the entrance policies
where ARRIVALS AFTER 9:00 WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ENTRANCE.
PROCEDURE:
8:50 Guard semi-close the main iron gate
8:50 Teachers, doorman, nurse, supervisors will remind parents within the campus, to leave before gate closure.
9:00 Guard closes the main iron gate and doorman close the glass-door. (any parent who didn't leave campus before 9:00 is required to sign a "late departure" note and wait to exit).
FAMILIES WHO ARRIVE AFTER 9:00 MUST RETURN HOME * only exceptions will be for parents who are returning children from a successful health check or have made special appointments, the day before with their teacher, will be allowed in after 9:30.
Please keep in mind that this is an enforcement of previously established entrance policies, due to the consistent increase in late arrivals. To avoid inconvenience, simply adjust your time-table to arrive early and calculate for the days traffic.
As we strengthen our observance of the morning entrance procedures we are making changes to improve the afternoon pick-up situation. We will expand upon the pick-up time periods and divide into extended time segments. (entrance cards will be exchanged in the coming weeks to feature color codes for PN, N, K1 & K2 and will also be used to swipe when you exit the premises, within the designated period) Please check the new pick-up time segments below.
15:20 - 15:40 Pre-nursery pick-up time (new Green ID card)
15:30 - 15:50 Nursery pick-up time (new Orange ID card)
15:40 - 16:00 K1 & K2 pick-up time (new Purple ID card)
* a sticker for enrichment / late-class students will be issued, to stick to the entrance cards to allow entrance after 16:00.
From now and until April 4th, teachers, guards and management will remind all late parents to prepare and adjust their arrival schedule to avoid any entrance denials from Monday, April 4th.
