Hello, my friends! We missed you!
With the autumn arriving quietly, the weather was cool, but our campus became warmer because our old students had returned to school. They checked their temperature, completed their morning health check, and found their way to their new classrooms. They couldn’t stop help but to chat with their friends and teachers as soon as they saw them. Although the pre-nursery students were upset when they left their parents, they walked into the classroom and began to make new friends. They soon started to feel the love and warmth of school in this new adventure.
Our First Time
What did our pre-nursery and nursery students think about their new life at Newton?
They played games with teachers and friends for the first time. Amazingly, children can play so happily together!
They took Newton’s train and found more interesting things at school.
They tried Newton’s food, which was so yummy, especially the cake on the first day!
There was no complicated First Day Ceremony at Newton. We just wanted to help them feel happy on the first day of the new semester.
On the first day of the new semester, students did various things to mark the occasion: they made school badges and commemorative hats, distinctive medal necklaces with macaroni, and left handprints on their photo books……
Celebrating a student’s first day symbolizes children starting a new chapter of life. Under the careful preparation of teachers, children made their wishes for the new semester, shared happy moments, and had a good time together.
Kindergarten life is like a trip; each semester is a new site for students. They grow up year after year. Each first day is a rite of passage, one of many they will experience. From today on, let's continue to set sail with hope and ring in the new school year together!
